PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider an 11 items consent calendar before moving on to main agenda items. The calendar consists of meeting minutes, claims and nine new hires in for Electric, Cemetery, Business Office, Utilities, Street, Golf and Airport. A public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for a temporary liquor license request filed by the organizers of Oahe Days along with a list of requests for Steamboat Park. The Commission will get an update on the Outdoor Pool project and a bid award for a washbay project. New business will see the introduction of two plats, one in the Camelot Addition and the other in the Center Point Addition. Commissioners will consider a request to bid for a new airport firefighting truck, an airport terminal lease with Capital Auto Rentals and give first reading to a budget supplement for the washbay project. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
