PIERRE — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District Administration building. The Board will consider approval of the agenda and consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board and public comments will follow along with an update from the Riggs Student Senate. Board members will consider approval of a resolution designating official bank depositories and discuss the preliminary Fiscal Year 2024 budget. First reading will be given to proposed hand book changes and action will be considered on a resolution regarding South Dakota High School Activities Association participation. The Board will also consider action on donations, surplus property, open enrollments, resignations, contract items and will meet in executive session for a student matter. The Board will also consider action regarding a school board hearing held on April 27th, The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
