Howard Wood Dakota Relays Wrap up in Sioux Falls

Friday and Saturday, teams from all over the state of South Dakota along with schools from Iowa, Minnesota and North Dakota would compete at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays.

Pierre

The Governors would have six top ten finishes as Jason Maciejczak would place second in both the shot put and discus throws while Reese Terwilliger would place fourth in the shot put throw. The relay team of Kali and Dani Ringstmeyer, Charlee Williams-Smith and Grace Richter would place fifth in the 4×200 and eighth in the 4×100. Kali Ringstmeyer would place sixth in the 100 meters to round out the top ten finishes for the Governors.

Sully Buttes

Lydia Hill for the Sully Buttes Chargers would place 18th in the discus and 19th in the shot put throws while the team of Stevie Wittler, Jaycee Jaeger, Hope and Courtnie Weinheimer would place 23rd in noth the 4×100 and 4×200 relay races.

Stanley County

The team of Raegen Taylor, Brianna Sargent, Grace Sargent and Kaysen Magee would have the best finis the Stanley County Buffaloes as they placed 16th in the sprint medley relay race. Grace Sargent, Gracie Olson, Rachel Nemec and Magee would finish in 20th in the 4×800 relay race.

Potter County

The Potter County Battlers would have four top ten finishes as the team of Rayel Persoon, Jaydn Ahlemeier, Dannika Kaup and Emma Schlachter would place third in the 4×400 and 4×800 relay races while Mean Seurer, Persoon, Kaup and Schlachter would also place third in the sprint medley relay race. Sean Seurer, Tanner Frickson, Carter Luikens and Nicholas Schlachter would team up to place sixth in the boys sprint medley relay race.

Miller

Ally Mullaney of the Miller Rustlers would place eighth in the girls high jump as Mullaney, Tyra Gates, Morgan Kolda and Jaden Werdel would place 10th in the 4×100 relay race as the two top ten finishes on the weekend for the Rustlers.

Jones County

The Jones County Coyotes would have three top ten finishes as Kendal Kinsley, Jadyn Jensen, BreAna Aske and Jolie Dugan would be in fourth in the spring medley relay race and then Emma Hunt, Jensen, Dugan and Aske would be eighth in the 4×400 relay race. Kaden Kinsley, Tristen Host, Asa Best and Adrik Schoon would team up on the boys side to place 10th in the sprint medley relay race for the Coyotes.

Highmore-Harrold

For the Highmore-Harrold Pirates, the team of Isaiah Felicia, Tate Hoffman, Cody Aasby and Dawson Hale would place 13th in the spring medley relay race while Felicia, Hoffman, Aasby and Carson Stephenson would place 19th in the 4×200 race. Autumn Fallis would take 22nd in the 3200 meter run for the Pirates.
