Miller Picks up Seven Wins at Home Track and Field Event, Sully Buttes Four Wins

The Miller Rustlers would host the Miller Invite on Tuesday as 15 teams competed including Sully Buttes, Stanley County and Highmore-Harrold.

Sully Buttes

The Chargers would pick up four wins on the day as Stevie Wittler would win both the 100 and 300 meter hurdles and Lydia Hill would once again win the shot put and discus throws. The team of Wittler, Jaycee Jaeger, Courtnie Weinheimer and Hope Weinheimer would place third in the 4×200 and fourth in the 4×100 relay races. On the boys side, Gavin Barber would place seventh in the 200 meters and Teghan Westphal would also be seventh in the long jump.

Stanley County

Stanley County didn’t send many athletes to compete in Miller as Rachel Rungee would have the best finish overall as she placed 16th in both the shot put and discus throws as only five Buffs had scores on the day.

Miller

Miller would rack up seven wins on the day as Alex Schumacher in the 1600, Pierce Baumberger in the 3200 meters and Isaak Hunter in the 300 meter hurdles would all take home first place on the boys side while the Rustler girls would win three relay races as Tyra Gates, Ally Mullaney, Morgan Kolda and Jaden Werdel would win the 4×100 and 4×200 relay races while Paide, Jaden and Gracen Werdel along with Madeline Nye would win the 4×400 race. Mullaney would also win the girls high jump to round out the seven victories.

Highmore-Harrold

The Pirates would have Autumn Fallis pick up its lone win in the 3200 meter run while Fallis would also take second in the 1600 meters and third in the 800 meters. Trey Knox would place second in the high jump, third in the long jump and eighth in the triple jump for Highmore-Harrold. Dawson Hale had two top ten finishes as he placed third in the 3200 meter run and fourth in the 1600 meters. Cody Aasby would have two fifth place finishes in 100 and 200 meter dashes while also placing seventh in the 400 meters. The team of Isaiah Felicia, Knox, Aasby and Carson Stephenson would place fifth in the 4×200 relay race while Felicia, Stephenson, Jonah Webb and Jordan Erfman would place fifth in the sprint medley relay race.
