Jones County Wins Five, Lyman One at Eagle Qualifier Track and Field Meet

The Wall Eagles would host the Eagle Qualifier Track and Field Meet on Tuesday which included both the Lyman Raiders and the Jones County Coyotes.

Lyman

Rory McManus would be the lone winner of the day for the Lyman Raiders as he won the 110 meter hurdles and also was fourth in the 300 meter hurdles and 100 meter dash. Mason Ryan would place third in the 3200 meter run, Aksel Ehlers fourth in the pole vault and the team of Ehlers, Memphis Choal, Benjamin and Jonathan Herman, fourth in the 4×100 relay race. On the girls side, Jordyn Scott was second in the 300 meter hurdles while placing fourth in the 100 meter hurdles. The team of Scott, Makaylee Scott, Kelsyn Wells and Maggie Lingemann would be third in the 4×400 relay race.

Jones County

The Coyotes would pick up five wins on the day as Emma Hunt would win the 100 and 300 meter hurdles while Jolie Dugan placed first in the 800 and 1600 meter runs. Adrik Schoon would pick up the lone win on the boys side setting a personal record in the 800 meter run. Asa Best would have a second place finish in the long jump while the team of Bryer Kinsley, Tristen Host, Cooper Feddersen and Jett Nix would place second in the 4×400 relay race. BreAna Aske would have a second place finish in the 400 meter dash while the team of Hunt, Kendal Kinsley, Jadyn Jensen and Aske placed second in the 4×200 and Aske, Sophie Dowling, Addison Rankin and Dugan would be second in the 4×800 relay race.
