It will be a busy week for the Pierre Governor softball team as they play four games through Saturday beginning the week host the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles this afternoon.
After Tuesday’s game the Govs will be in Sioux Falls on Friday and Saturday playing a single game on Friday and then another two games on Saturday against three different teams. Pierre will face Rapid City Central on Friday, who they played to begin the season and then Watertown and Jefferson and Saturday. But today’s game, the Govs take on the Golden Eagles as they are still in search of its first win. Aberdeen Central is 0-6 after its loss to O’Gorman on Monday. Outside a 21-17 football like score in a loss, the Golden Eagles have only one run in the other five losses. The Govs went 1-1 last week picking up its first win in program history last Thursday.
