Wittler, Hill Win Twice at Yellowstone Trail Conference Track and Field Meet

The Sully Buttes Chargers would host the Yellowstone Trail Conference Track and Field Meet on Thursday as the Chargers would pick up five wins and Potter County would have 15 wins.

The Chargers would have Stevie Wittler and Lydia Hill each win twice with Wittler winning the 100 and 300 meter hurdles while Hill would win the discus and shot put throws. Wittler, along with Olivia Olson, Courtnie Weinheimer and Hope Weinheimer would place second in the 4×100 relay race. Wittler, Olson, Courtnie Weinheimer and Jaycee Jaeger would also place second in the 4×200. Kayden Westergren had the only win on the boys side for the Chargers as he set a personal record in the discus throw.

Potter County

Sean Seurer would be a part of three wins for the Potter County Battlers as he placed first in the 100 meter run while being a part of both 4×200 and sprint medley relay teams. Tanner Frickson, Jhett Simon and Landon Larson would be a part of the 4×200 relay team while Seurer and Frickson teamed up with Carter Luikens and Nicholas Schlachter in the sprint medley relay race. Luikens would win the 400 meter run and Schlachter the 3200 meter run while Tanner Vandervorst would win the pole vault to round out the boys wins. On the girls side, Megan Seuer in the 200 meters, Emma Schlachter in the 400, Peyton Stevens in the 800 meters, Jayden Ahlemeier in the 1600 meters and Paige Ahlemeier in the 3200 meters would all win their respective running events. Jayden Ahlemier, Rayel Persoon, Dannika Kaup and Schlachter would win the 4×400 relay race, Persoon, Stevens, Tori Cook and Paige Ahlemeier the 4×800 and Seuer, Schlachter, Jaydn Ahlemeier and Taylyn Rausch the sprint medley relay race to round out the 15 wins in total.
