Changes Ahead For Pierre School District Administration

PIERRE — Some changes are coming to the administration of the Pierre School District. Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt says Rob Coverdale will be departing at the end of the school year to serve as the Superintendent of Crow Creek Schools. For six years, Coverdale served as principal for the McKinley/Washington Elementary Schools and the last 11 years as assistant principal at T-F Riggs High School. Buchanan Elementary School principal Ryan Noyes will be moving west to fill Coverdale’s position at Riggs as assistant principal. Noyes served as a science teacher at Georgia Morse Middle School for 14 years before jumping into the administrative realm as an elementary school principal at Lyman County. Noyes will have served as Buchanan principal for eight years. Glodt says Coverdale will make an outstanding superintendent for Crow Creek Tribal Schools. Glodt did not indicate who would replace Noyes as Buchanan principal.
