The Pierre Governor softball team will travel to Sioux Falls today to face both Harrisburg and Brandon Valley in search of their first wins of the season.
Pierre will face Harrisburg first as the Tigers are 5-0 to begin the season and have cruised to multiple 10 run wins. The last three wins have all come with a 10-run rule win and Harrisburg has scored over 10 runs in four of the five games. In total the Tigers have outscored their opponents 83-36. Brandon Valley picked up its first win over Sturgis last weekend scoring 20 runs in the win. The Lynx are 2-2 after its win on Tuesday over O’Gorman in a high scoring affair and Pierre will be looking for a high seed point win while also knocking off Brandon Valley.
