After a postponement on Friday, the Pierre Governors are set to host the American Legion Relays today at Hollister Field as 27 total teams will be in Pierre.
Along with the Governors, Highmore-Harrold, Miller, Stanley County and Sully Buttes are other area teams participating in the Relays. Pierre, Highmore-Harrold, Miller and Sully Buttes all lost the track meet last Thursday when the Charger Invite had to be canceled due to weather. For most of these schools, they will all be competing again later in the week at various events as teams need to continue to get track and field meets in as the season winds down and the state meet in Sioux Falls is just a month and a day away.
The Legion Relays will follow the same schedule when it was previously scheduled for Friday. The day begins at 11:00 at Hollister Field in Pierre.
