Pierre Tennis Swept by Watertown

The Pierre Governors would travel and face the Watertown Arrows in the indoor facility on Friday and the Arrows would pick up a 9-0 sweep on the day.

It was the first to 10 games and the Arrows were dominant throughout the day. Weston Northrup in singles flight six lost his match 10-4, but that would be the closest any of the matches would be in the loss. The dual drops the Govs to 2-6 on the season and 0-3 in the ESD with a busy week this coming week. Tuesday, the Govs will host Huron and Spearfish then will host Brandon Valley on Thursday for senior recognition. Then on Saturday, the Govs will travel to Sioux Falls to face Harrisburg and Sioux Falls Christian.

The five match week begins on Tuesday at home against Huron and Spearfish. The Govs beat the Spartans in the first weekend of the season out in Rapid City. The triangular begins at 11:00 AM at Griffin Park in Perre.
