The Big Dakota Conference will meet in Stephan on Tuesday as Crow Creek will host the Track and Field meet with both Stanley County and Miller participating.
The Buffaloes last competed on Thursday at the Todd County Invite, but this will be a much smaller event than in Mission. Outside of Stanley County and Miller, the other Big Dakota Conference teams are Chamberlain, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, Crow Creek, Mobridge-Pollock, Todd County and Winner. So with only eight teams participating, we’ll see teams rack up plenty of top ten finishes but all teams can really work on increasing times and distance in each event.
This will be Miller’s first outdoor event of the season after competing three times indoors and having its lone outdoor event canceled before today. The Rustlers will be in Onida on Thursday for a quick turnaround while Stanley County will be in Pierre on Friday for the American Legion Relays.
The Field events start at 11:30 this morning with the track events to begin at 1:00 all in Stephan.
