PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. The meeting will start as a joint meeting with the Pierre City Commission for final consideration of a plat of Lot 1-R, Block Two in Farm Island View Estate. The Commission will consider for a second time a jail contract with Haakon County. In new business, Commissioners will consider approval of a haul road inspection contract with Brosz Engineering, submitted sealed highway bids and leases at county communications sites. The Commission will discuss county roads, the reorganization of building maintenance, personnel items and reports from liaisons and the County Manager.
