FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. The Council will get reports from city officials before moving on to agenda items. A proclamation will be made for Arbor Day and Council members will consider a tax abatement request. The Council will consider a pay request for work on the sewage lagoons and a request to approve an engineering proposal for a water storage project. Two public hearings will be set for temporary liquor license requests filed by the Pat Duffy Community Center and Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center for events in May and June at the Stanley County Fairgrounds. Also on the agenda is authorization to sign a renewable energy certificate designated entity contract, medical cannabis renewals and setting pubic hearings for two alcohol licenses.
