Maciejczak Wins Shot Put, Discus in Pierre’s Four Wins at Track-O-Rama

With four different states at the Rapid City Track-O-Rama on Friday, the Pierre Governors would win four events overall with Jason Maciejczak winning two.

Maciejczak would set personal records in both the shot put and discus throws taking first place in both for the second straight competition for the Governors. Kali Ringstmeyer would win the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.14 and Reese Terwilliger would set a PR in the shot put with a 40-08.75 and rounding out the four wins for the Govs.

Pierre would also finish with 27 top ten finishes on the day. On the boys side, Jared Lutmer would place second in the 3200 meter run while the team of Caden Thompson, Landon Bertram, Brayden Houlette and Lutmer would place second in the sprint medley relay.

Danielle Beck would place second in the girls high jump while Maya Shorter would have three top ten finishes with a third place finish in the javelin and fifth in the shot put and seventh in the discus. Kali Ringstmeyer would also have three top ten finishes along with the win, she would finish third in the 4×200 relay with Grace Richter, Maira Tafoya and Dani Ringstmeyer while also placing fourth in the sprint medley relay with Richter, Lennix Dupris and Charlee Williams-Smith.
