Pierre Tennis has Home Opener Facing Aberdeen Central Thursday

Nearly three weeks later, the Pierre Governor tennis team will have its first action again, this time, playing on its home courts at Griffin Park, hosting Aberdeen Central in a dual.

The Governors went 1-3 in duals in the first weekend of action, back on March 24-25 out in Rapid City. After the four duals, the Governors were scheduled to face Mitchell and Milbank at home and then Roosevelt and Jefferson on the road in two separate triangulars. However, the winter weather forced the cancellation of Roosevelt and Jefferson triangular, but Milbank and Mitchell is rescheduled for Thursday, April 20.

Thursday’s matchup is a lone dual with the Golden Eagles who are 2-5 on the season coming off two losses in a triangular against Brandon Valley and O’Gorman.

After Thursday’s dual, the Governors will travel to Harrisburg for a triangular on Saturday with Sioux Falls Christian.

The dual is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM at Griffin Park.
