Pierre Picks up 15 Wins in Bob Judson Invite

The Pierre Governors would be dominant through out the afternoon on Tuesday in its home meet as they would take 15 individual wins at the Bob Judson Invite.

Pierre

For the Governors, Jason Maciejczak would win both the discus and shot put throws while Reese Terwilliger would win for Pierre on the girls side. Kali Ringstmeyer would pick up two wins individually as she would win the 100 and 200 meter dash while also placing first in the 4×100 with Grace Richter, Charlee Williams-Smith and Tafoya Maira. Jared Lutmer would also pick up wins in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. Greyson Schuetzle would win the 110 meter hurdle run while also placing first in the 4×400 with Brayden Houlette, Trevor Rounds and Deegan Houska. The 4×100 relay team also won first with Landon Bertram, Tayshaun Agard, Jett Zabel and Levi Letellier. Houska also claimed victory in the 300 meter hurdles while Bertram was first in the 200 meter dash. Ryann Barry would win the girls long jump and Anastyn Baade, the girls triple jump to round out the 15 winners on the day.

Sully Buttes

Stevie Wittler had a solid performance for the Sully Buttes Chargers as she placed second in the 100 meter hurdles and then would win the 300 meter hurdles and was followed by teammate Olivia Olson while Lydia Hill placed second in the shot put throw and then would win the discus throw for the Chargers.

Stanley County

Barrett Schweitzer for Stanley County would take home first place in the javelin throw while the team in the 1600 sprint medley of Paxton Deal, Brendon Bothwell, Noah Baldwin and Spencer Sargent would win that event for Stanley County’s two wins on the day.

Highmore-Harrold

Autumn Fallis would pick up wins for the Highmore-Harrold Pirates in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. It would be the only two wins on the day for the Pirates in Pierre.

Potter County

The Potter County Battlers would pick up four wins as two were in relay races. The team of Rayel Persoon, Dannika Kaup, Jadyn Ahlemeier and Emma Schlachter would win the 4×800 and 4×400 races. Carter Luikens would win the 800 meter run for the Battlers while Schlacter would win the 800 meter run on the girls side.

Lyman

Skyler Volmer of the Lyman Raiders would win the 100 meter hurdles while also collecting the win in the girls high jump for the lone two wins for the Raiders.
