FORT PIERRE — An altercation in Fort Pierre Friday afternoon remains under investigation. The Stanley County Sheriff’s Office says authorities were called around 4:30 Friday afternoon to the 600 block of LaFramboise Drive in Fort Pierre for the altercation that they say turned into a knifing. Two people were injured because of the altercation. Both were detained however as of Friday evening no arrests have been made. Responding to assist Stanley County were the Pierre Police Department, South Dakota Department of Public Safety and A-M-R Ambulance.
