Stewart-Fromm Commits to Lake Region State College in North Dakota

The goaltender who has been the starting goalie for the Oahe Capitals girls varsity program for the last five years will be continue to play hockey into college. Abby Stewart-Fromm will join Lake Region State College in North Dakota.

In the fall of 2023, it will be the first year for both men’s and women’s hockey for Lake Region State College who is a JUCO and plays in the Mon-Dak Conference. Both programs will be a part of the American College Hockey Association Division II. Stewart-Fromm finished her senior year with the Capitals stopping 304 of 333 shot for a .913 save percentage which included two shutouts in her four wins on the season.
