South Dakota Clay Target League Breaks Participation Record

South Dakota – The season is underway for 1,590 student athletes participating in the South Dakota State High School Clay Target League (SDSHSCTL) this spring. Those athletes are competing on 71 high school teams across the state, supported by over 400 coaches, team staff, and other volunteers. The 1,590 student athletes sets a new record in the state for participation surpassing last year’s total of 1,524.

For high school athletes, their nine-week spring season is already underway, and will conclude May 20th. The season is followed by State Tournaments in June, leading up to the High School National Championship in July.
