PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission was scheduled to meet tonight, but a blizzard is altering those plans. The agenda facing Commissioners was again limited with only a handful of items for consideration. The City of Pierre is also under an emergency snow alert as the storm moves in. As for the agenda, Commissioners were scheduled to consider approval of a five-item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the March 28th meeting, claim approval, setting a public hearing date for a land lease and two human resource items. Commissioners will consider approval of an update to a lease for golf carts at Hillsview Golf Course, a plat and the introduction of a joint plat in Farm Island View Estates. Commissioners will also present any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission will meet again, next Tuesday, April 11th at 5:30 pm at the Pierre Municipal Building.
