The Bob Judson invite, which was scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed due to winter weather. It’s the second straight meet called off for the Pierre Governors.
A total of 12 teams were scheduled to be in Pierre today including area teams of Highmore-Harrold, Jones County, Lyman, Potter County, Sully Buttes and Stanley County along with the Pierre Governors. Now, all the teams will break for the Easter Holiday break and will have competitions starting up again next week where hopefully the weather will be nicer to compete again. For Pierre, they have been able to compete once, being indoors in Brookings.
The event is a rarity as it is postponed and not canceled. It is now being rescheduled for next week Tuesday, April 11. For the Governors, it’s next meet after is scheduled for next Friday, April 14 in Rapid City. Pierre will host the American Legion Relays, scheduled for Friday, April 21.
