A total of three teams of Team SD will begin its journey today as the Oahe Capitals will be represented on both the U16 Girls and Boys teams.
On the girls side, Brylee Kafka is playing in her second tournament in as many weekends after playing with Team SD U19 last weekend. She’s the lone Capital on the Girls U16 team. Team South Dakota begins the tournament bright an early at 9:15 Pacific Time in Irvine, California against the Sno-King Jr. Thunderbirds out of Washington.
Jarron Beck is the captain of this year’s U16 Team South Dakota as he is also the lone member of the Capitals playing for Team SD on the boys side. Team SD opens its tournament today against the Vermont St. Pat’s in Amherst, New York. Puck drop is at 12:00 Eastern.
