After having the game postponed due to weather, the Pierre Governor softball team is now set to get its first season officially underway as they host Rapid City Central this afternoon.
The Governors will play today and then again this weekend up in Aberdeen. This weekend’s games will be played in the Presentation College’s dome to avoid any bad weather. Eight seniors will be on the inaugural Governor’s team.
Nobody played over the last weekend as today becomes the new first day for scheduled games in AA softball.
First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 at Pierre High School.
