PIERRE — It’s another light agenda for the Pierre City Commission. Commissioners will start tonight’s meeting with consideration of an eight-item consent calendar. Included on the calendar are minutes from the March 21st meeting, the appointment of Commissioner Blake Barringer to the Hughes County Equalization Board, a number of seasonal new hires in various city departments, a promotion and the claims. Only two items of new business are on the agenda. Commissioners will consider approval of change order one for the drinking water treatment plant and a request to bid the Highway 34 water main loop project. Commissioners will round out the agenda by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets at 5:30 pm tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building.
