For the first time in history, the Pierre Governor softball team is scheduled to take the field on Saturday as they host the Rapid City Central Cobblers. This is the first ever year of softball sanctioned by the South Dakota High School Activities Association.
The Governors on the roster for this year have played throughout the fall as a club team, but now get to wear the school colors and be the Governors.
