PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Another light agenda will come before Commissioners tonight. In special business new Airport Manager Brian Cowles will be introduced to the Commission and the community. The Commission will consider a four-item consent calendar including meeting minutes, the claims and two new hires. A public hearing will be held at 5:45 pm for a retail on/off sale malt beverage license request. Two items make up the remainder of the agenda. Commissioners will discuss Opioid Program funding with Capital Area Counseling Services and will give second reading to the 2022 carryover budget supplement for the 2023 city budget. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
