PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission is meeting tonight at the Hughes County Courthouse. A public hearing will be held at 5:30 pm for a renewal application by Oahe Electric for powerlines and Commissioners will consider approval of a raffle request filed by Oahe A.B.A.T.E. Commissioners will consider approval of a plat change in the Shamrock Addition and the restrictive covenant of two lots in the Lighthouse Addition. The Commission will consider a jail agreement with Haakon County and will discuss a civil case involving the county. Also on the agenda for the Hughes County Commission are deciding work hours for the Good Friday and Easter holidays; a new hire in the Highway Department and pay increases in the Highway Department. Commissioners will also consider a date to hold a County Commission executive session discussion retreat and will hear reports from liaisons and the County Manager.
