FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. Council members will hear from city officials before getting into the main agenda. A smaller agenda awaits the Council as the Local Board of Equalization is meeting at six p.m. tonight. Any business left at 6:30 will be continued after the City Council meeting. The Council will consider approval of the Significant Weather Emergency Response and Rescue plan and will consider the awarding of bids for 2023 crack and chip sealing projects. Council members will give authorization to advertise for 2023 street projects and to purchase a truck with crane for the Electric Department. Clean-up is also listed on the agenda.
