Governors Lead Wire to Wire in Win over Roosevelt

The Pierre Governors will face the Harrisburg Tigers in the consolation championship on Saturday after its 56-46 win over Roosevelt on Friday in which the Govs never trailed.

Ben Heisler had the game high 23 points for the Governors including 11 of the 15 points in the fourth to help lead the Govs to the win. Lincoln Kienholz added 17 as he is just 20 points shy of setting the Pierre Governor all time scoring record. Jack Radel led the way for Roosevelt with 10 points as Roosevelt shot 7-9 from the line while Pierre went just 2-5 hitting both of its free throws in the fourth quarter. Pierre beats Roosevelt in both games this season and will get a chance to do the same against Harrisburg tomorrow in the fifth place game. Pierre beat Harrisburg by 20 earlier in the season.
