PIERRE — Students from seven high schools across South Dakota are in Pierre today for the South Dakota ProStart Invitational. A total of 55 competitors from schools in Pierre, Harrisburg, Madison, Mitchell, Mobridge-Pollack, Watertown, Sturgis, Sioux Falls and Vermillion will take part in this year’s ProStart Invitational. The top-placing teams in both the culinary and management competitions will earn scholarships to continue their education and a trip to the National ProStart Invitational in Washington, D.C. in May. The event is being held at the Ramkota RiverCenter and is open to the public.
