Fort Pierre’s Eddie Duffy was crowned the Knight’s of Columbus South Dakota State Champion in Chamberlain on Sunday, March 5.
Duffy hit 24 of 25 free throws to claim the title as he represented St. John’s. Overall in the three competitions, Duffy missed just four shots including going 24 for 25 in both the district and state level. Duffy was 13 of 15 in the local contest.
State champion scores were to be tabulated to determine the international champion.
