PIERRE — The Hughes County Commission marches into March tonight with their first regular meeting of the month. Commissioners will declare any conflicts and consider approval of the agenda before considering main agenda items. In special business a new Hughes County deputy and corrections officer will be introduced to the Commission before the group considers an engineering company to watch over the haul road agreement for the North Bend Wind farm project. New business for the Commission includes first consideration of a plat and meeting with Nicole Gordon of the Central South Dakota Enhancement District. Commissioners will also set an Equalization Board meeting date, personnel matters and reports from liaisons and the County Manager. The Hughes County Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
