The Stanley County Buffaloes couldn’t pull off a second win over the Miller Rustlers on Tuesday as the season ends with a 64-52 loss on the road.
The Buffs, who finish the season at 3-18 would hang tough throughout the night, but the Rustlers picked up a seventh straight win to advance to the SoDak 16 qualifying game on Friday to face Crow Creek who scored 91 points in their win over Cheyenne Eagle Butte. For seniors Rileey Rungee and Nathaniel Nelson, their careers for the Buffs will come to a close.
Miller and Crow Creek will play in one of the two 6A SoDak 16 Qualifying games on Friday, in Miller.
