The Sully Buttes Chargers open up the region tournament tonight as the Chargers will face the eight seed, Ipswich after its win on Monday over Sunshine Bible Academy.
The Tigers and Chargers played at the very beginning of the season with Sully Buttes rolling over the Tigers 56-19 and used a running clock. It was the first of 17 regular season wins and the first of 15 losses for the Tigers. Sully Buttes, the top seed, will get to enjoy playing in front of the home crowd and can play in Onida again on Thursday with a win tonight. The winner of this game will face the winner of Herreid/Selby Area and Lower Brule for a spot in the SoDak 16.
