Capitals Dominate Mitchell on Senior Night

The Oahe Capitals would bounce back after a 1-0 shutout loss on Friday to defeat the Mitchell Marlins on Saturday with an 8-3 win behind an Aiden Dozark hat trick.

The Capitals would score three minutes into the contest to get moving quickly. Barrett Schweitzer would score first and then Jarron Beck would add two goals midway in the first period. Dozark would score his first of three to close out the first with a 4-1 lead. Dylan Dodson and Dozark would score in the second to give the Caps a 6-3 lead at the end of two periods and the Ashton Griese and Dozark would finish the game scoring in the third for an 8-3 win. Colin Lee would make 39 saves in net for the Caps. Griese picked up an assist and is now just one point shy of 200 for his career and would be the fifth Capital in history when he reaches the feat.

The Capitals are now 15-3-0-1 and will finish the season next weekend with games in Huron Friday, in Watertown Saturday and at home on Sunday against Rushmore.
