Stanley County Hosts Mobridge-Pollock in Doubleheader

The Stanley County Buffaloes are down to the final three games of the season for the boys and final two for the girls as they host Mobridge-Pollock in a doubleheader.

The Lady Buffaloes will play tonight and then on Friday to close out the regular season with the region tournament to begin next Tuesday. Stanley County is currently in sixth place in the 6A standings and will face the Tigers who are in first in the standings. The Tigers are 12-5 and have won four of the last five contests with its only loss to the Sully Buttes Chargers last week.

The Mobridge-Pollock boys are a full seed point behind McLaughlin for first place in the 6A standings as they sit in second while the Buffs are also in sixth at 3-14. Mobridge-Pollock had won seven straight before dropping its last two games heading into tonight at now 9-8. Stanley County is looking to end a six game skid with Little Wound and Lyman remaining on the schedule.

Tip off is scheduled for 6:30 tonight for the girls game with the boys game to follow all at the Parkview Auditorium in Ft. Pierre.
