The White River Tigers came in to Ft. Pierre and would leave with a 75-46 victory over the Stanley County Buffaloes on Thursday night.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Joe Sayler who scored a game high 22 points for the now 14-3 Tigers who continue to lead Region 7B. They have a matchup with Lower Brule and rematch of the state semifinal last season which will be played on Saturday at the Corn Palace. It was a triple overtime win for Lower Brule last March.
The Buffs fall to 3-14 and have now dropped six in a row as they will stay home next week with only three games remaining in the year. Stanley County will host Mobridge-Pollock on Tuesday and then Little Wound on Thursday before wrapping up the regular season the following Monday in Presho facing the Lyman Raiders.
Tip off of the Mobridge-Pollock game will be at 8:00 this coming Tuesday.
