Friday afternoon, Madison Oedekoven would sign her National Letter of Intent to continue her athletic career to competitive cheer at the Dakota Wesleyan University.
Oedekoven has been a part of the competitive cheer team for five years at TF Riggs and was part of a team this year which had just seven seniors on the squad. Back in 2021, the Governors finished in 12th place as a team scoring a 188.5. Oedekoven was also awarded the heart of a cheerleader award in 2021 while also being named MVP of the cheer team in 2020 and 2021.
Oedekoven will be a part of the cheer and dance team at DWU for the 2023-2024 school year which only be the second team in school history following the 2022-2023’s inaugural year. Oedekoven says the decision easy…
