The Pierre Governor wrestling teams will be wrestling its final dual of the season tonight by hosting the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles.
The Governor girls are looking for its final dual win and an undefeated season in duals. The girls will still have a tournament this weekend and next before the regular season wraps up and the state tournament begins the final weekend of February.
The Governor boys are looking for one more win to help solidify a number two spot in the dual state tournament which will be on Saturday, Feb. 25. The Governors boys are at 10-1 and are actually in first place in seed points, but Brandon Valley, at 14-0 will have a case to be the number one team when it comes to the seeding of the tournament. Aberdeen Central, at 14-7, are in ninth place in the standings and looking for a win to put them in the top eight to qualify for the tournament.
The girls will wrestle first at 6:15 with the boys to follow at 7:00 at the Riggs High School Gym.
