The Pierre Governor wrestling teams will be busy on the road this weekend as the girls will travel to Canton on Friday while the boys will be in Mitchell. Then on Saturday, both teams will compete in Yankton.
The Governors boys are coming off a loss to Brandon Valley in its last dual, but a tournament win in Brookings over the weekend. Pierre at 9-1 will face Mitchell on the road as the Kernels are 6-9 coming into the contest.
The Governor girls will be a part of a triangular on Friday in Canton as they will wrestle Harrisburg along with Canton to begin the weekend. The Governors still have not lost a dual this season.
Then on Saturday, both teams will be in Yankton as they host a tournament with the boys region wrestling meet just two more weekends away.
The boys will wrestle at 7:00 tonight and the girls beginning at 5:30. The tournament in Yankton will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday.
