The Pierre Governor boys basketball team would defeat the Harrisburg Tigers 80-60 on Saturday at home after an overtime loss on Friday.
The Governors quickly put the last two losses behind them with an early double digit lead in the first quarter. Pierre shot well throughout the afternoon and had three players in double figures. Lincoln Kienholz would lead the way for the Govs with 27 points while Heisler would add another double digit performance with 18 and Brecken Krueger had 11 for Pierre to improve to 8-5 on the season. The Governors now have 29 dunks on the season with another added by Jackson Edman.
Pierre will travel to Yankton for its lone game of the week on Thursday. Tip off will be at 7:00 on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports.
