The Sully Buttes Chargers are back on the home court tonight for its first doubleheader in over a week. Tonight the Chargers host the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots.
The Charger girls are coming in sitting atop the Region 6B standings as we near the end of January and get into the final month of the season at 8-2. Sully Buttes last played on Thursday beating Stanley County while Hitchcock-Tulare played on Tuesday getting a win over Redfield to move back to .500 at now 5-5. Sully Buttes will playing back-to-back Region 1B teams with Warner on the docket for Saturday.
The Charger boys will be looking for its second win of the season after just not being able to grab the win on Tuesday against Stanley County. Now the 1-8 Chargers will face the Patriots who are coming in off a loss to Redfield on Tuesday and have dropped four straight to now be at 4-5. Hitchcock-Tulare is currently in fifth place in the 1B standings while the Chargers are in seventh in the 6B standings.
