The Stanley County Buffaloes return home on Thursday for a doubleheader as Crow Creek will head to Ft. Pierre to face the Buffs in a region clash.
In the boys contest it’s a matchup of 3 vs. 4 as Crow Creek, the three seed comes in at 4-6 and just 0.8 points ahead of Stanley County for third place. The Buffaloes though, have won back-to-back games for the first time all season and will look for its third straight win to potentially move up the ladder and overtake the three seed with just under a month remaining in the regular season.
Crow Creek girls are 5-6 on the season and in fourth place in the Region 6A standings while the Lady Buffs are 4-10 and in sixth place. The Lady Buffs dropped its last contest to Gregory on Tuesday at home and will be heading out to face Cheyenne-Eagle Butte on Saturday. Crow Creek lost to Winner on Monday to go under .500 for the first time all season and on a four game losing streak.
The girls game will play first at 6:30 tonight with the boys game to follow all at the Parkview Auditorium in Ft. Pierre.
