The Oahe Capital girls team will be on the road for two games this weekend as they travel out to face the Mitchell Marlins and then to Watertown to face the Lakers.
The Capital girls will be looking for its second and third win on the season as they first play Mitchell. The Marlins are currently at 6-3-0-1 and in fourth place in the standings. The Marlins lost two of its three top goal scorers from last year’s team but return Brynlee Sabers as she leads the league in goals with 26.
Sunday the Capitals will be in Watertown to face the Lakers in a must win game. Watertown is at 1-10 so far on the year and the Capitals are still in search of a four or five seed and it starts with beating the teams below you in the standings. The Lakers will be hosting Aberdeen on Saturday before the Capitals are in town on Sunday.
Sunday’s game in Watertown is at 1:30 while Saturday’s game will have coverage beginning around 4:10 on Capital City Rock and on YouTube at Capital City Rock Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
