The Pierre Governor girls basketball team is back at home tonight and will face the Douglas Patriots and then Brandon Valley Lynx on Thursday this week.
Tonight the Govs look for its eighth win of the season against the Douglas Patriots who come in with the reverse record of Pierre at now 1-7. The Patriots only win so far on the season has come against winless Sturgis 38-28, but have dropped four straight including a loss to Pierre’s opponent on Thursday, Brandon Valley. Douglas is currently sitting in 15th place trying to cling to a spot in the SoDak 16 as we hit the halfway point of the season. Pierre is still sitting in second place in the AA standings as they will hit the halfway point of the season on Thursday.
