Fort Pierre City Council Meeting Moved To Tonight From Monday

FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is moving it’s Monday night meeting to tonight due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The Council will get reports from city official before getting into the agenda. A public hearing will be held for temporary liquor license requests filed by the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center for events in January. In new business, the Council will consider approval of a temporary liquor license for the Silver Spur for an event on February 11th at the Pat Duffy Community Center. Public hearings will be set for the first meeting in February for a malt beverage license and temporary liquor license. Council members will consider authorizations to purchase a mower, software and computer upgrades for the camera trailer, a snow blower and attachment and a radio repeater and 12 radios. Other Agenda items include plat request, engineering for 2023 street projects, water system improvements and engineering and authorization to apply for Infrastructure First funding for the Capital Improvement plan. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at 6:30pm at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room.
