PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is looking at another brief agenda for tonight. In special business, Commissioners will get an update on the transition to drinking water from well water to treated Missouri River water as the drinking water treatment plant has been in operation for about a month. The Commission will consider approval of a large consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the January 3rd meeting four personnel items, raffle requests from the Pierre Swim Team, Post Eight Baseball and the Oahe Family YMCA, a roster of volunteer firefighters and the claims. All of the consent calendar items will be approved at the same time in one motion. That leaves a single item of new business. Commissioners will consider approval of a request to suprlus and donate the Riggs baseball field concession stand. The Commission will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30pm at the Pierre Municipal Building.
