PIERRE — The Pierre School Board holds its first meeting of 2023 tonight at the District Administration Building. The Board will consider approval of the consent calendar and agenda before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Comments from Board members and the public will follow along with a presentation from the Riggs Student Senate. The Board will also see a presentation and update on the Teammates mentor program and will get a presentation from Our Kids Deserve It. Board members will consider approval of a date to hold a school board election and adoption of a joint election agreement with the City of Pierre. The Board will get a review of the annual audit report for the previous school year and consider approval of administrator contracts, donations and retirements. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30pm
