PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The meeting starts with two items of special business. They include a proclamation for National Mentoring Month and a report on the Bright Energy Solutions Customer Rebate program. A public hearing will be held at 5:45pm for a temporary wine license for the South Dakota Inaugural Committee. New business includes a request to allow alcohol at the South Dakota Discovery Center for Brookings/S-D-S-U Day at the Legislature. A change order and pay application will be considered by Commissioners for the Black Hills Drive project and Commissioners will consider approval of the 2023 combined election agreement with the Pierre School District and Hughes County. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30pm.
